The Cat Chronicles is a place for cat obsessed people like yourself to enjoy stories, view uncle-sil-king-catprecious kitty pictures and videos, but more importantly to get educated and obtain information about our King’s and Queen’s health and wellness.

I wanted to create a site where cat parents can read reviews on cat products that I have experience with to ensure their kitties are eating the best food, drinking from the best fountains, playing with the best cat toys, and so much more!

I blog about cat experiences and information, busting myths, discussing best options for your kitties health and wellness, and offering tips and tricks for you to be the best cat parent you can be!

Why? Because our royalty, our children, our furry family members deserve nothing but the best! Quite frankly it’s a meowt time!!

You’re here because you love cats. I’m here because I love cats, and want to make the cat world a better place for both kitty and human one entry at a time!

The Story of The Grey Cat Lady

I am the proud parent to my large all Grey son Silvio Dante, named after my favorite character from The Sopranos. Like the mafioso that he is, he also likes to be called Uncle Sil, Sil, Handsome, King, Gentleman and the list goes on! I am sure you can relate to the plethora of kitty names we give our babies. No one has just one name for their cat!

mr-grey-cat-chronicleMy first love was my all Grey kitty named Mr. Grey. Have you seen the movie Reservoir Dogs? Well if you haven’t, Reservoir Dogs is a 1992 American heist film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino in his feature-length debut. Packed with a stellar cast of diamond thieves whose planned heist of a jewelry store goes terribly wrong. Each thief use aliases: Mr. Blonde, Mr. Blue, Mr. Brown, Mr. Orange, Mr. Pink, and Mr. White…So this prompted the inspiration for my first kitty being named Mr. Grey!! The mr-grey-cat-chronicleoriginal Reservoir Cat!

Mr. G and I spent 15 loving years together here on planet earth. He taught me what unconditional love truly looks like, and also, the do’s and don’ts to being a great kitty parent. After Grey got sick I did extensive research on caring for a senior cat, and want to share my knowledge with you!

Because All Nine Cat Lives Matter!

I’ve started a nine cat lives matter revolution, and you are part of it! You love cats, you own a cat, you had a cat, you want a cat, you NEED a cat, you are part of the revolution!

Educating yourself on your furry feline friend is important and vital to your kitties overall health and wellness. The Cat Chronicles is THE best place to read up on the latest and greatest cat products, cat care, cat health, cat beahvior, and ALL THINGS CAT.

Donna, glad you found some insight in this post! Try having the water bottle on hand and be patient with the process. It takes time! You can always drape aluminum foil or an old blanket over the furniture as well to help prevent the cat from scratching your furniture up. What kind of scratching posts do you have?
